Can you help us?

We also need more volunteers to carry on this valuable work and to help make a real difference in their local community. Each volunteer receives free training on a wide range of topics to help them prepare for their voluntary role. Volunteering is incredibly worthwhile and offers you a chance to help others and improve your own skill set.

So if you have couple of hours to spare each week?

Enjoy meeting new people and spending time chatting and listening?

Have a sense of humour?

Enjoy the occasional trip to a cafe or a pub?

Then this is a great opportunity for you!

Full training and support given and no prior experience required

But you do need warmth, reliability, empathy, common sense and a ready smile.

The support we give is rewarding and a life changing service to others, and many of the families we visit  each week have described our service and volunteers as “a lifeline”, “the highlight of my week” and even “a gift from heaven”.

So, if you think you could help a family and donate a couple of hours each week and make a positive difference to other peoples lives, then we would love to hear from you.
